Virtual Psychotherapy & Art Therapy for Adults Across Ontario

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming with no end in sight, but it doesn’t have to. Everyone struggles and almost everyone, at times, feels completely alone in their struggles, but you don’t have to navigate this alone. You may appear to be managing on the outside, yet internally feel anxious, disconnected or weighed down by self-criticism. If you’re feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout or emotional overwhelm, therapy can offer a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. I offer a collaborative and relational approach to therapy grounded in compassion and curiosity. The deepest trauma is relational, and the deepest healing is also relational! I believe that healing happens in the context of authentic and secure connection, and our work together will explore how past experiences have shaped the beliefs, patterns and coping strategies that show up in your life today. Together, we’ll explore these patterns while building new skills and internal resources to support meaningful change.

We are a constellation of beliefs and values, many of which we’ve inherited over time. Our focus will be on exploring the beliefs and values that have shaped your experiences, identifying which continue to serve you and which may be contributing to anxiety, perfectionism, or patterns that no longer feel helpful. At times, you may feel unsure what to do in a situation, or notice a gap between knowing what would help and actually being able to do it. Therapy can help explore the barriers that lie between knowing and doing, while building practical tools that support nervous system grounding, emotional regulation, healthier boundaries and more fulfilling relationships. I strive to remain curious and compassionate as we deepen self-exploration and gently work toward healing old wounds. My goal is to support you in working towards your goals and intentions, help you feel empowered and develop practical skills that you can carry with you outside of therapy. You don’t have to keep carrying what was never yours.

Virtual Art Therapy

Virtual art therapy combines psychotherapy with creative expression to support emotional processing and self-exploration. Sessions often involve accessible creative practices such as drawing, painting or collaging, used as tools to explore thoughts and feelings that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. You don’t need to be artistic, art materials simply offer another way to engage with your inner experience. Through guided creative practices and reflection, art therapy can help open up new ways of expressing yourself.
